Are you able to edit the title of this issue? The change is more over-reaching, it is not restricted to pull requests; Rather I'd be surprised if it weren't the case for almost any e-mail submitted Github. |

There is some A/B testing or prodding going on on Github's side, the
notifications I received to this thread does not contain tracking tokens. I do
use plain text view for emails as well...

… The issue notification mails I get don't have a tracking token, neither do
have the PR notification mails that are for creation, pushes or other events
other than comments.
Well, though for PR notification mails this isn't right anymore:
- The link at the very bottom (in the signature) does not have a tracking
token.
- The link to the patch file has a tracking token.
- The link at the top does have one as well.
Also I'm only looking at the text versions of the mails, not the HTML
version. I now did look at the HTML version, and noticed that issue
notifications *do* have tracking tokens in the HTML verison, but only for
some of the links. The first link does not, while the footer/signature link
does.
My above notes for PR mails are also not correct when you look at the HTML
version, at least for ones with pushes and for PR creation (they do have
tracking tokens in all links).
I guess setting your email reader to prefer text versions helps a bit :)

Since a few days, email notifications for PRs contain tracking information. The links at the bottom of the email are no longer of the form
but
Since I never click on tracking links, I now have to manually edit the links to remove this tracking information before I can reach the comment the notification is about. Since my workflow relies mostly on email notifications, this basically kills my productivity as a project maintainer. Please consider removing this (and not introducing this for issue notification emails)!
