Hey, I think what's happening is that when your org has SSO with Microsoft, you need to use a specific URL instead of just going to github.com.

Try this:

Go directly to: https://github.com/orgs/YOUR-ORG-NAME/sso

(Replace "YOUR-ORG-NAME" with your actual GitHub organization name)

From there it should redirect you to Microsoft to login and then bring you back to GitHub already authenticated.

Why did it work before from Visual Studio? Probably the Visual Studio tile was automatically redirecting you to that SSO URL, but now it seems like it's just sending you to GitHub's home page without triggering the authentication.

If this doesn't work, then it might be something on Fortive's side - they might need to resend you the org invitation or verify that you're in the correct group in Azure AD.
