build: test-permission-drop-ffi test fails with Missing FFI test fixture library error #66055
How often does it reproduce? Is there a required condition?
Always.
What is the expected behavior? Why is that the expected behavior?
All tests should pass. If some dependency (test or otherwise) needs to be built for a test, the build system should take care of it automatically.
What do you see instead?

Node.js v26.8.2
...
The error indicates that the FFI test fixture library was not built before running the test suite.
Please run:
make build-ffi-tests
make test-ci-js
The first command builds ffi_test_library.so, which is required by test-permission-drop-ffi.
Since you're building Node.js with a custom set of --shared-* options on Guix, if the library still isn't generated, the next thing to check would be whether the test build step is being skipped by the build configuration.
The solution works, and it was hinted in the error message, but my suggestion would be for the build system to detect this situation and depend on thebuild-ffi-tests in this case, so that it is built automatically without the need for an error/user intervention; does that make sense?
FYI, #66059 moves this test to the native FFI suite, where the FFI fixtures are built as part of test-ci-native, so they shouldn't need to be built manually.

Please let me know if this solution worked.
