<p>libAttachSQL is a lightweight, non-blocking C API for MySQL servers originally created by HP's Advanced Technology Group. It is desgined to be easy to use and easy to contribute to.</p>

<h2>Project Information</h2>
<p>The libAttachSQL source code is <a class="reference external" href="https://github.com/libattachsql/libattachsql">hosted on GitHub</a>. All code is automatically tested using <a class="reference external" href="https://travis-ci.org/libattachsql/libattachsql">Travis CI</a>. The status of what is currently being worked on can be seen on our <a class="reference external" href="https://waffle.io/libattachsql/libattachsql">Waffle.io project board</a>.</p>
<p>Documentation is in reStructuredText files included in the source and is compiled to generate our <a class="reference external" href="http://docs.libattachsql.org/">Read The Docs documentation</a>.</p>

<p>The first alpha release of pyAttachSQL and pyAttachDB has been released today. pyAttachSQL is a Python wrapper for libAttachSQL and pyAttachDB is a DB API 2.0 connector which uses pyAttachSQL underneath.</p>

<p>A few days ago we tagged the latest version of libAttachSQL, 1.0.3. This is a very minor bug fix release which for the most part fixes the test suite as well as compiling on Mac OS X. <p>The third GA of libAttachSQL has been tagged and released today. This is a bug fix release which deals with a couple of packaging and prepared statement issues as well as better Mac OS X support.</p>

<p>Today marks the first GA release of libAttachSQL. Not a huge amount has changed over the RC release, almost exclusively bug fix changes to improve stability and error handling.</p>
