A checkout-aware session dashboard for Copilot CLI: group pull requests and linked issues by branch/worktree, show local changes and upstream/base divergence, monitor CI and reviews, and summarize subagent progress in one composable footer.
When a session moves between repositories and linked worktrees or delegates implementation, a current-directory label doesn't show which checkout belongs to which PR, which reviews are blocked, or which agent work has actually merged.
This plugin maintains that view throughout the session. It's a runtime with trackers, cached GitHub queries, and checkout association, not a prompt for generating a footer. This submission installs only extensions, not the repository's skills collection.
Four selectable components
Branch/worktree: full checkout paths, live branches, unstaged/staged/untracked markers (*, +, %), upstream ahead/behind counts, and commits missing from the selected base.
Pull requests: clickable links, CI progress, merge conflicts, approvals, and resolved/total review threads.
Issues: clickable links, priority/type labels, linked open PRs, assignees, and comment counts.
Subagents: one overall lifecycle summary instead of repeated per-checkout counts.
With branch/worktree enabled, each external checkout gets a row ordered as checkout, PRs, then linked issues. Copilot's own checkout label is hidden. Repository identity and branch must match; ambiguous items remain on a session-wide row. Only proven subagent-only PR details are compacted; main-session and unknown-provenance PRs stay detailed.
Commit comparisons use locally fetched refs, not network refreshes. A matched PR selects its target repository/base; incomplete or conflicting base metadata shows unavailable rather than substituting a default. The footer doesn't fetch, pull, rebase, merge, or switch branches.
GitHub state confirms merges, not successful shell calls or queued auto-merges. Merged badges dismiss on the next real user message after detection; cache polls don't resurrect them. Empty historical checkout rows disappear while current working checkouts remain.
Requirements, data access, and configuration
Requires a Copilot CLI host supporting SDK extensions and command statuslines, Node.js, Git, and authenticated gh access to tracked repositories. OSC 8 enables clickable links; Nerd Font and Unicode icon modes are supported.
The plugin reads local session events/transcripts and workspace metadata, stores local tracking state/caches, and queries GitHub through existing gh authentication. No separate hosted service or AI model requests are required.
On first load with no saved selection, it copies runtime files into the Copilot configuration home, enables all four items, configures/replaces settings.json's statusLine command, and enables footer.showCustom. A picker opens where supported. Existing saved selections are preserved. /statusline-setup changes or disables items; /session-worktree lists tracked checkouts. PR-only installs include required sibling runtime files without enabling unselected items.

Verification
At the pinned merged revision on October 18, 2026, 66 local tests passed on Windows, covering tracking, divergence, grouping, merge verification, installer/SDK entry points, and compositor behavior. vally lint extensions exited successfully but found zero skills; that isn't runtime validation.
Clean-profile marketplace installation and native multiline footer presentation haven't been independently verified for this submission. The documented Windows/macOS/Linux installation paths aren't cross-platform certification. Upstream intake gates and maintainer review remain pending.
Submission checklist
The plugin lives in a public GitHub repository.
The ref and/or sha I provided is immutable (release tag and/or full 40-character commit SHA), not a branch.
This submission follows this repository's contribution, security, and responsible AI policies.
This plugin is not already listed in the Awesome Copilot marketplace.
