Payment Request remains “Partially Paid” after cancelling a foreign-currency payment #61550
Cancelling all payments against a foreign-currency Payment Request restores its outstanding amount, but incorrectly sets its status to “Partially Paid”.
The status calculation compares the outstanding amount in party-account currency with the requested amount in transaction currency.
Steps to reproduce
Use an INR company and a supplier with an INR payable account.
Enable Allow multi-currency invoices against single party account if required.
Submit a Purchase Order for USD 100, with exchange rate 80.
Create and submit an outward Payment Request against the order.
Create and submit a Payment Entry against that request for INR 8,000.
Confirm the Payment Request shows Paid.
Cancel the Payment Entry and reload the Payment Request.
Actual behavior
Outstanding amount returns to INR 8,000, but status becomes Partially Paid.
Expected behavior
Status returns to Initiated, because no payment remains. For inward Payment Requests, it should return to Requested.
