Seed Generation needs to be better for wallets. (1.0.1) #14
When generating a seed the second letter is always poem.
I don't know what this is? like a glitch or what but have had this happened twice Tails wallet version download on two different fresh tails installs. Should I be concerned?
Suggestion add the ability to add custom words to the seed just like "Electrum Bitcoin wallet"
Then checked that 256checksum matched the signed hashes.txt
Then checked the .asc of the appimage ggp --verify feather-1.0.1.AppImage.asc feather-1.0.1.AppImage
In addition to the private spend key, the seed scheme also encodes the restore date, cryptocurrency type, and reserves a few bits for future use. The second word is static because some of the reserved bits remain the same for each seed generation.

In Monero, a seed offset passphrase can be used in addition to the mnemonic seed. To do this:
Select "Create new wallet" to generate a new seed.
Copy the seed.
Go back and select "Restore wallet from seed"
Enter the 14 word seed and a seed offset passphrase.
A wallet created in this way will only be recoverable using both the mnemonic seed and the seed offset passphrase. Make sure to back up both.
In a future release you will be able to add a seed offset passphrase directly from the "Create new wallet" menu.

This is normal. Try clicking on the second word.

Feather recently switched to a new seed scheme called Polyseed. The second word issue is no longer present.
This has been implemented.
Eventually.
