standardize handling of c++ exceptions bubbling up to ruby #99

Open

Description

@tmm1

Currently there are a number of c++ exceptions that bubble all the way up to the ruby VM and cause the process to die. These should all be caught in a single place, and translated to ruby exceptions.

There are a few examples of this already in rubymain.cpp, but it needs to be standardized. This will probably be easier once cmain.cpp is removed entirely in 1.1

    As a first step in this I've gone through and removed the BUILD_FOR_RUBY code and translated all the throw statements to rb_raise statements. You can see the outcome in: https://github.com/dj2/eventmachine/compare/master...exception
