Create separate repository for bh107 #621

Open

Description

@dionhaefner

I wondered whether it would be a good idea to decouple the bh107 interface from the bohrium repo. As I see it, it would have the following advantages:

  • Easier to contribute - no need to dig through 5 levels of folders to get to the beefy part
  • Can be setup like the pure Python module it is, no C++ build tools required
  • Could have a clean and simple testing suite
  • Shows how Bohrium frontend and backend are separate entities

What do you think?

    I think it is a good idea but maybe it best to wait until bohrium-api provides most primitives needed by bh107? Else, the building process will be very version sensitive.
