    @callmegautam

    I looked into this from the open-source side, and the code path the Console uses here looks correct:

    • For Flutter > Web, the Console calls project.createWebPlatform with the name and hostname (createPlatformForProject in apps/console/src/lib/react-query/hooks/projects.ts).
    • That hits POST /v1/project/platforms/web, which needs the platforms.write scope. Nothing in it treats Flutter Web or *.appwrite.network hostnames differently.
    • Owners get platforms.write in app/config/roles.php.

    So this probably comes from something Cloud-specific (the session or region endpoint, the plan, or the org role) and not from the platform endpoint itself. A few details would help narrow it down:

    1. In the browser devtools Network tab, the failing request's URL (including the region subdomain, e.g. fra.cloud.appwrite.io) and the response body type (for example user_unauthorized).
    2. Your role in the organization that owns the project.
    3. Whether adding a plain Web platform (not Flutter) fails the same way.
