Absorb system into packages/system #13803

Closed

Description

@loks0n

Selected as the next leaf after compression. utopia-php/system requires only PHP, has one production class, and keeps the Utopia\System namespace. Appwrite main already locks 0.11.0, and the mirror main is identical to that tag (verified using utopia-php/system@0.11.0...main). Existing system package CI passes. No open system migration PR found in either repository. Compared with registry/dsn, system already has the newer monorepo test tooling; user-agent also carries a development dependency on matomo/device-detector.

Scope: import full mirror history; flatten source/tests; add root autoload and replace wiring; remove the Composer dependency; run package checks/tests and Appwrite integration CI. After merge, verify Appwrite Split, retire packages/system from utopia-php/monorepo in a follow-up PR, and verify the old splitter no longer publishes it. Preserve standalone mirror/releases and consumer Packagist constraints.

    Migration PR: #13804, assigned to @loks0n and labelled absorb. Imported mirror history at f707764 (the already-locked 0.11.0). All 33 tests / 65 assertions pass both standalone and through Appwrite root autoload. Package checks, manifest validation, and split dry-run pass. PHPStan baseline records 16 pre-existing CPU/disk statistics findings; Linux and full Appwrite checks remain for CI. Merge with a merge commit, verify Appwrite Split, then retire system from the old monorepo in a follow-up PR.

    Appwrite Split succeeded and the system mirror exactly matches the imported package tree (686f2b41a96033af1be9493c9f636e1e502f29b0). Cleanup PR: utopia-php/monorepo#313, assigned to @loks0n and In review. Validation, Vale, diff checks, and the actual CI discovery script pass. HTTP/VCS retain their Packagist constraints. After merge, verify the old Split run no longer publishes system.
