   To restate your request: you'd like the Desktop app to include a simple built-in code editor, so you can make small edits to files yourself instead of prompting the AI and waiting for it to respond. Right now the Desktop app's file panel only shows files; it can't edit them. The maintainers will consider this.

   • [FEATURE]:Embed VS Code core for a seamless in-app code editing experience (Reference: Trae/SOLO) #29507: an earlier request for an in-app code editor in Desktop. It was closed automatically after a period of inactivity, not rejected.
