I realize that this is not this team's responsibility—was just curious if anyone has worked on this for angular-app (since this is a great boilerplate) or if there was any general guidance the devs behind angular-app would recommend when attempting to update the code to be compatible with angular 1.3 or 1.4.

Many other modules like bootstrap UI soon will not be compatible with 1.2.
