Describe the bug

I'm seeing the following error when trying to log in with my Apple ID in Xcodes:

To Reproduce

Try to log in with a valid Apple ID and password.

Expected behavior

Login should succeed.

    I've tried deleting and reinstalling, and that seemed to resolve it, but just now I tried it on another machine and it didn't work.

    I just tried uninstall-reinstall, didn't work

    hm, although
    #644
    explains the fix, this is hardly feasible.
    Naive q: isn't there a different way to authenticate like creating a developer token to be used in Xcodes?
