Why doesn't the hysteria2 tunnel have an ESTABLISHED connection?

My goal is to maintain a persistent ESTABLISHED connection after the initial Hysteria2 handshake. Is this possible with Xray-core?
In Sing-box, Hysteria2 tunnels naturally keep the ESTABLISHED state and don’t drop for days. In Xray-core, however, the connection doesn’t stay ESTABLISHED. Why is that?
I tested under identical conditions: an HTTP health check request is sent through the tunnel every minute.
