Describe the bug
When adding a custom plugin to the settings > store > custom plugins. And you enter a verified valid repo and main/master branch both exist. It will give the infinite loading symbol without any warning. (see screenshot)

I have tried to get more debug data to make this easy but setting it up raw via the git repo (and a lot of dep management) and via flatpak but am not able to get any relevant information.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to top left to the '...' menu
2. Select Open settings
3. Go to Store
4. Enable custom plugin
5. Enter (for example) https://github.com/G4PLS/AudioControl.git and main
6. Close screen
7. Click on any button
8. Click on Add more
9. It will now load for ever without any warning (see screenshot)

Expected behavior

• The store should keep loading and/or give a warning.
• When adding an "invalid' (as this was a official plugin that is not the case) it might give a warning.
