There is an issue with MacDown where lists that immediately follow a line ending with a colon don't render properly as multi-line lists. Hence: ```markdown This is a sentence ending with a colon: - List item 1 - List item 2 - List item 3 ``` Gives: ```macdown This is a sentence ending with a colon: - List item 1 - List item 2 - List item 3 ``` The workaround is a blank line after a colon but this is time consuming when there is a lot of markdown to correct: ```markdown This is a sentence ending with a colon: - List item 1 - List item 2 - List item 3 ``` Is it possible to fix this in a future release? Thank you.

This issue has been addressed in MacDown 3000, a fork that continues active development
of MacDown.
Lists immediately following a line ending with a colon now render correctly as multi-line lists, without requiring
a blank line separator.
