X-Star 2B Autonomous Brain & Dual-Loop Controller (v4.6.1)

Endogenous Continuous Plasticity, Layer 11 VGNI Epistemic Grounding & Commutative Dual-Composition Architecture

PyPI version Python Versions PyTorch GitHub License 1000Q Benchmark

Overview

X-Star 2B Autonomous Brain (v4.6.1) is an open-source, standalone HuggingFace native cognitive architecture. Built atop the 28-layer hybrid transformer topology (Qwen3.5-2B), X-Star introduces endogenous reasoning and lifelong memory anchoring directly inside the forward-pass execution graph:

  1. Layer 11 VGNI Epistemic Grounding: Employs a 128-slot associative memory bank with dynamic sensitivity gating ($0.08 \times \sigma(\text{gate}) \times a_{\text{approach}}$) that roots abstract reasoning in physical reality.
  2. Commutative Dual-Composition LBU ($f(g)$ vs $g(f)$): Resolves formal logic order bias via commutator norm minimization ($|f(g(h)) - g(f(h))|_2$).
  3. Endogenous Banach Continuous Plasticity & Homeostatic Restitution: Employs a Banach contraction mapping ($\gamma = 0.85$) with periodic elastic drift subtraction every 5 updates ($\Delta W_{\text{plastic}} - W_{\text{baseline}}$), locking synaptic drift at $\le 2.26$ and completely eliminating catastrophic forgetting.
  4. cuBLAS GEMM Kernel Optimization: Replaced repetitive tensor allocations with compiled cuBLAS F.linear calls, achieving a 13.2x microkernel speedup and recovering token throughput to 21.4 – 25.9 tok/s.
  5. 1,000-Question Empirical Benchmark Audit: Verified on local RTX 5060 GPU with 92.60% overall accuracy (926/1000) over 172,498 generated tokens, including 100% in Commonsense & Logic (200/200), 100% in Science & STEM (250/250), and 100% in HumanEval (50/50).

Installation

# Core package (PyPI v4.6.1)
pip install dual-loop-controller

# With GPU dependencies
pip install torch transformers accelerate

Quickstart

1. Simple 3-Line Python SDK

import xstar

# Load model (auto-detects CUDA)
model = xstar.load()

# Run single-shot generation
print(model.generate("Solve: If f(x) = 3x + 5, what is f(2)?"))

# Multi-turn chat
messages = [{"role": "user", "content": "Explain why glass does not break on carpet."}]
print(model.chat(messages))

2. Global CLI Commands

# Interactive chat in terminal
xstar chat

# Single-shot prompt execution
xstar run "Sentence: The glass fell onto the carpet and did not break because it was soft. What was soft?"

# Architecture telemetry & memory bank occupancy
xstar info

# Run benchmark suite (200 questions or 1000 questions)
xstar bench --suite 200q
xstar bench --suite 1000q

# Start OpenAI-compatible REST API server
xstar serve --port 8000

Empirical Benchmark Highlights (1,000 Questions)
