I'm a backend engineer with 3+ years of production experience building Node.js / NestJS services for ed-tech, marketing automation, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Currently completing my MSc in Computing (Data Analytics & AI) at Dublin City University, graduating June 2026.
At Mantra Labs I built an AI-integrated content pipeline combining Bing AI and ChatGPT, and owned end-to-end the Mantra Ace SaaS platform serving 300+ employees. I cut API response latency by ~50% through Redis caching and query optimization.
My MSc capstone, ChurnX AI, is a GDPR-compliant, multi-tenant SaaS that lets businesses upload datasets and receive ML-powered customer churn predictions with personalised retention recommendations.
I care deeply about clean architecture, API contract design, security (JWT / OAuth / RBAC), and shipping software that people actually rely on. Based in Dublin, holding a Stamp 1G — eligible for Critical Skills Employment Permit roles.

- Built a production AI Article Generation Tool combining Bing AI for content creation and ChatGPT for LLM refinement, replacing manual research effort with an automated pipeline including cron scraping, prompt-engineered LLM workflows, and a JWT-protected review-and-approval queue.
- Owned end-to-end backend of Mantra Ace — an internal resource-management SaaS used company-wide by 300+ employees. Implemented multi-role RBAC via Google OAuth, designed Postgres schema, built leadership analytics dashboards, and granular permission systems.
- Reduced API response latency by ~50% on a live client product through Redis caching and MongoDB query optimization; instrumented A/B testing; built CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Mentored junior engineers on JWT auth and API contract design; operated in Scrum (sprint planning, standups, retros).
- Built MERN-stack features for FunctionUp's bootcamp platform including AWS S3 file uploads, Lambda-backed serverless functions, and student progress dashboards.
- Mentored 100+ students per cohort on Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and React — delivered live code reviews, technical sessions, and debugging workshops.
- Ranked #1 on CodeZinger across all cohorts in Thorium Batch 2022, highest score across all FunctionUp cohorts.

Multi-Tenant Customer Churn Prediction SaaS — MSc Capstone @ DCU
B2B SaaS platform that lets companies upload CSV/Excel datasets or connect their database to receive per-customer churn predictions with personalised retention recommendations. Trained models across E-commerce, Banking, and Telecom domains.
Built secure NestJS backend with 40+ REST APIs, JWT + Google OAuth 2.0, RBAC, Bull-queue async ML pipelines, Helmet/Throttler rate limiting — fully GDPR-compliant (consent, portability, right-to-erasure, audit logs). Python ML service integrated via Bull + Docker.

Automated News Tracking & AI Content Pipeline
