Most financial systems start the same way. You're building a wallet, a user has $100, they send $30 to a friend, so you write balance = balance - 30 on one row and balance = balance + 30 on the other.
You've issued 2 million verifiable credentials. An employee's phone has been stolen. You need every verifier in the world to reject that one credential within a few minutes, without revealing which one, and without O(n) scanning.
The question is what if your biometric e.g. 'face' is your private-key? No seed phrases to lose, no passwords to forget, no keys to store. Your biometric generates your wallet, which holds your verifiable credentials, which you prove using ZKPs.
Let's say you're trying to execute a complex all-in-one atomic transaction that requires swapping tokens, adding liquidity, and staking rewards. But then, your regular Ethereum wallet EOA can't do batch transactions.
What if I told you there's a better way? What if you could just say I want 100 SOL for my 1000 USDC and have the blockchain figure out the rest?
Zero-knowledge proofs enables verifiable computation without opening up private transactions, creating a powerful building blocks for privacy-preserving transactions and scalable onchain verification.
Source code of smart contracts deployed on the Polygon POS chain can be verified using the explorer, similarly, contracts deployed on the Polygon zkEVM testnet can also be verified using the Polygon zkEVM testnet explorer...
First generation blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana are saddled to the tasks of carrying out consensus, settlement, execution and data availability on the same layer hence they have been termed monolithic blockchains. By design, monolithic blockchains can’t effectively carry out all these tasks and this leads to the rise of the blockchain trilemma.
By design, the Polygon zkEVM is an EVM-compatible zk-rollup. It aims to improve throughput, performance, and efficiency.
Ethereum’s vision is to become a blockchain that solves the blockchain trilemma problem. This means it will become more scalable, and secure and still maintain decentralization.
Build animated loading skeletons with Tailwind CSS using a shimmer effect, so you can show placeholder UI while the real content loads.
Moving on doesn't mean forgetting the past, the past is part of what made a way to the future we are in today.
