Cycle, run or row around the world with Kinomap, which delivers interactive indoor fitness training that enables you to enjoy some of the world’s most scenic and challenging routes. Its thousands of high-quality videos are accompanied by structured workouts, coaching programmes, live sessions and private or public multiplayer races.
What we love: The visuals are spectacular, and Kinomap can make them even more immersive: if your fitness equipment is compatible, the app can automatically adjust the incline of your treadmill or the resistance of your bike to match the real-world route. Kinomap works with equipment from some of the world’s biggest fitness brands.

Quick tip: Send the video to your Apple TV for a truly cinematic experience. If you don’t have Apple TV, connect your device to a multiport adaptor and use an HDMI to TV cable.
Meet the creator: Based in Douai, France, Kinomap was founded in 2004 by Laurent Desmons and Philippe Moity to create immersive training for cyclists. It soon expanded to include running and rowing and now has millions of members.
