Ever wonder what happens to a piece of bacon after you eat it? Find out in Bacon in Zane, where you’ll slide bacon along its fantastic voyage using flippers, levers, and gravity-reversing switches to navigate dozens of outlandish, organ-based levels. Keep at it to find all six exits to the outside world—including some that would not be comfortable in real life.
What we love: Nailing a series of tricky feats, like using a springy platform to launch the bacon into a narrow passage. Each exit includes a social media influencer parody video offering a dubious health tip. (“Allergies got you down? Stick a piece of bacon in your nose!”)
Quick tip: Tucked away in the inner ear is a microphone, one of several playable objects waiting to be discovered. As you move it through the body, the game will start playing back anything you say out loud.
Meet the creator: German solo developer Philipp Stollenmayer’s quirky catalog includes the delicious hits Bacon – The Game and PBJ – The Musical. Stollenmayer used a sensitive contact microphone to record his own body sounds for the audio in Bacon in Zane—and he even fasted for 20 hours so his stomach would be extra rumbly!
