This update is about making Craft Assistant more powerful for everyone, every improvement below is free. No subscription required. - Personalize the Assistant with your own preferences and context. Go to Settings → Assistant to tell it about yourself and how you like to work. - Bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic API key, or log in with ChatGPT and use it without limits. - Enjoy a smarter on-device experience with Apple Foundation Models, now supporting full threaded conversations, completely offline, free for all users. Additional fixes - Toolbar title no longer flickers when pushing a new screen - the title now stays centered instead of briefly animating in from the left edge. - Breadcrumb title now updates correctly when you move a document into a folder. Previously the old title could linger until you navigated away.

This update brings major improvements to Collections, faster performance for large tables, smoother editing interactions, and a range of polish and stability fixes across Craft. Collections - On iPhone, you can now do everything to a collection without opening it fullscreen: add items, create and manage views, configure properties, download CSV, and bulk-edit inline. - Replaced the separate Table, Gallery, and Kanban configuration panels with a single unified Layout & Visibility panel. Switch between layouts with one header control instead of jumping between panels. - Kanban polish: always-visible button to add a column at the end, the inline "+" to add a card now scrolls with the column content, and the toolbar no longer flickers while dragging during multi-select. - Multi-select inside inline collections (Gallery, Kanban, Table) now works smoothly: the parent block no longer hijacks gestures, and selection clears when you scroll away or tap outside. Stability and Performance - Significant performance improvements for large tables. - We've fixed multiple crashes that could occur during normal use. Document Editing - Type `@` in a document title to insert links - same as in text blocks. Mention people, link to other documents, or reference tasks directly from the title. Also clicking an object link in a document title now opens the link directly, instead of just placing the cursor there. On Mac, the pointer also updates to match the behavior of text-block links. - Add Content menu icons are now consistent across the block context menu and slash command menu. Reminders - Tap a custom reminder to jump straight into editing (long-press still opens the context menu). - The "more" button on reminders no longer pops back into view. Search - Renamed the find-and-replace option "Ignore Diacritics" to "Diacritics Insensitive" for consistency with the other, "Case Insensitive" option. Keyboard Shortcuts - Cmd+Option+T now reliably closes all toggles when you've selected toggles together with their content (for example, after Cmd+A).

This update brings a redesigned Reminders experience, more flexible sidebar customization, smoother editing, and a range of visual polish across Craft. You can now keep Craft cleaner by hiding Imagine and Shared with Me from the sidebar on Mac and iPad, or from the Home Screen on iPhone. Reminders are easier to manage with grouped sections for Overdue, Upcoming, and Resolved items. On Mac, you can also pin the Craft Assistant panel to the side of your window so it stays open while you write. We’ve also improved styling interactions, math formulas, exports, slash menu labels, and fixed several small visual glitches across the app. Highlights Home, Sidebar & Navigation - You can now hide Imagine and Shared with Me from the sidebar on Mac and iPad, and from the Home Screen on iPhone via Customize Sidebar. This is especially useful if you prefer a cleaner, more focused mobile experience. - We also cleaned up several small visual details across the app, including sidebar alignment, selected Calendar states, and card style modal behavior. Reminders - The Reminders list has been redesigned with grouped Overdue, Upcoming, and Resolved sections. Resolved reminders are hidden by default, and a new 3-dot menu lets you show or hide resolved reminders, resolve all overdue reminders at once, or delete all resolved reminders with confirmation. - On iPhone and iPad, the plus button has moved to the bottom-left toolbar. Reminder icons now clearly indicate whether a reminder is overdue, upcoming, or resolved. To resolve or unresolve a reminder, use its context menu. Slash Menu - We added a Custom Reminder option to the slash menu and block Edit menu, making it faster to add reminders without leaving the keyboard. - Reminder, table, and separator labels in the slash menu are now clearer too. Tags - Tags hidden in workspace settings no longer appear as badges in block previews. Document Editing & Styling - You can now drag colors, color pairs, hex strings, and images directly onto the styling panel and color targets. The dropped value applies immediately, without needing to open a picker. - Math formulas now support non-Latin characters and symbols typed directly, including emojis. We also improved spacing around \dots to better match standard mathematical typesetting. - On Mac, scrolling past a focused block no longer jumps back to it for certain block types. Export - Mermaid XY chart axis labels, titles, and legends now render correctly in PDF and PNG exports. Assistant - On Mac, you can now pin the Craft Assistant panel to the right side of the window so it stays open while you write. Drag it to snap, or use Pin to Side from the chat menu. - The Assistant can now also reorder rows and columns in tables, including transposing tables or moving rows to the top. - Card background colors set by the Assistant now preserve both light and dark variants correctly.

Kanban views, Mermaid diagrams, redesigned math formulas, and dozens of improvements across the app. Kanban View Craft now supports Kanban, a whole new way to visualize your collections. Formulas now look the same everywhere — in the editor, in block previews, and in exports. On-Device Folders Graduating from Beta We've made extensive improvements to how offline folder content is downloaded, tracked, and maintained — reducing the chance of missing files, duplicate downloads, and other issues that could occur during normal use. Bug Fixes and Improvements Assistant - The AI Agent can now set full page styling (covers, colors, fonts, themes) when creating pages - The AI Agent can now set folder icons from Craft's full icon library Tasks Widget & Shortcuts - Siri Shortcuts containing % in text (e.g., "50% off") no longer silently fail - The "Today" filter no longer includes tomorrow's tasks for users in certain timezones Sidebar & Navigation - Keyboard shortcuts on iPad with multiple windows now target the correct window - Fixed a rare issue where the app and new tabs could open to the Recently Deleted folder by default Stability and Performance We've improved performance across the app and fixed several crashes, so Craft feels faster and more reliable in everyday use.

This update introduces Gallery view for Collections, performance improvements, and several fixes to make editing and navigation smoother on iPhone and iPad. Collections - Collections now include a new Gallery view, a grid based card layout as an alternative to table view. Cards display preview images, titles, and property fields as colored pills. You can choose between Small and Large card sizes, configure which fields and previews to show, and use the same filtering, sorting, grouping, and drag and drop features available in table view. - Collections are now noticeably faster. Importing large CSV files no longer freezes the app, scrolling through tables is smoother, and collections with many items open and respond faster. Improvements Home, Sidebar and Navigation - Selecting Settings from the sidebar now opens Space Settings directly instead of the Templates tab. Tags - Tag suggestions now show the correct lowercase version, and typing a tag with different casing no longer prompts you to create a duplicate. Notifications - A new Craft Notification Settings button in iOS Settings takes you directly to Craft’s in app notification preferences. Bug Fixes Document Editing - Presentation mode now displays in full screen on iPad regardless of window size. The toolbar no longer stays visible when it is not needed or appears in the wrong place on iOS 17 and iOS 18. Blocks no longer jump or disappear when hovering with an iPad pointer after navigating back and forth. Offline Mode - Drawings can now be re edited offline after saving.

This is the first release of 2026, and the team focused on making Craft faster, more reliable, and more polished across every part of the experience, continuing our goal of building the best productivity app for daily work. Performance & Reliability - Faster App Startup - Craft now opens faster and gets you to your documents more quickly, especially on Mac. - Faster Document Opening - Documents open faster and more smoothly, especially when multiple people are using the document. - Better Battery Life - The app uses less energy when you're not actively working, which means better battery life on your devices. - Improved Sync - Your documents sync faster and more reliably across devices, even when you're making lots of changes at once. - Better Stability - We've fixed several crashes that could occur during normal use. Document Styles We've done a comprehensive pass on document styles. Subpage cover images now appear on cards even when the body is empty. - Blocks - Separators, checkboxes, drawings, and sticky notes on cards respect your chosen style - Shared content - QR codes, smart link footers, and shared page analytics are now readable in all styles - We also fixed several annoyances: washi tape patterns no longer flash when changing styles, wide page settings stay put, and new documents properly inherit your default style. Editor Polish & Fixes - Autocorrect no longer removes text highlighting - Fixed first character being lost when clicking into code blocks and typing - Emoji selector appears reliably after mentions - Emoji picker on cards now accepts all emojis correctly - Mentions with code formatting now display correctly in comments - Pasting multiple URLs now works correctly instead of merging them into one link - Smoother experience when multiple people are editing the same document Better International Keyboard Support - Fixed issues with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean keyboards - Quick Search and table cells now work properly with IME composition. Export & PDF - Fixed Craft logo colors when exporting styled documents - Page breaks now work correctly for documents with styled subpages - Email export fonts render properly - Exporting from tag folders now respects your selected tags Navigation - Delete and duplicate now work from anywhere - Starred document titles now update live in the sidebar - Already pinned documents no longer show in the pin dropdown on Task screen - Floating windows now appear in Mission Control on Mac - Floating panels no longer overlap the Assistant button on Mac - Improved Backups top bar design Assistant - Fixed copying prompts from the Assistant window - Fixed an issue where using "replace selected" could insert empty tables - Theme cover images now show in the AI cover image picker Calendar - Fixed location links in event notes not being formatted correctly Whiteboard - Improved dark mode rendering for whiteboards - Layer ordering shortcuts (`Cmd+[`, `Cmd+]`) now work correctly on Mac - Better copy to clipboard support New Additions - React and comment from slash menu - Add reactions and start comment threads directly from `/` - Create tagged documents - The plus button in tag folders creates documents with tags pre-applied - Delete tasks from logbook - Remove completed tasks via context menu - All open tabs in Window menu - See and switch between tabs on Mac - Last used template sorting - Your favorite templates appear first - Asset downloads for viewers - View-only users can now download images and files
