Experience refreshed visuals, updated rosters, new PlayStyles, Game Plans, and Gauntlet Mode.
FC Mobile’s annual revamp has become a beloved ritual for its community of football lovers. Tying in with its anniversary celebrations, the 2027 edition arrives with plenty of fresh features and mechanics to make the most of, all year round.
The App Store Editors were lucky enough to get hands-on early, put it through its paces and break down what we know. Here’s a quick look at the changes so far.

Get ready for game-time decisions
FC Mobile 27 introduces Game Plan, letting you adjust your formation on the fly during a match (just don’t take too long!). There are also new tactics called Mentalities; use Ultra Attacking, Attacking, Balanced, Defensive and Ultra Defensive to determine how your team approaches the opposition.
Run the Gauntlet mode
A step up from the game’s original PvE mode, Gauntlet mode puts you in a series of mission-oriented matches of varying difficulty levels. Shape your squad based on the objectives at hand, then bag rewards when you win a match and reach the specified targets.
Try advanced PlayStyles
Incisive Through Pass, Dead Ball, Slide Tackle, Driven Lob Through. New PlayStyles are coming to the pitch, so get ready to surprise the opposing team with an unexpected move or two!
Explore the polished UI
Buttons and displays are now better positioned and easier to understand at first glance. There’s also a new Player of the Match feature, highlighting the stats and PlayStyle of the star of your team.
Beyond the annual refresh, there are also live events, new official leagues, national league collaborations and more landing in FC Mobile throughout the season. Check back often and discover something new to love!
