INDIE GAMES WEEK
This cat’s ready to play

Explore a cosy city as you guide a furry feline home.

What’s a cute house cat to do when a freak accident strands them on the streets? Find a way back to their high-rise apartment, of course – but not before strolling through Little Kitty, Big City’s tantalising open world. There’s much to discover in this busy-but-friendly town; here’s just a few of our favourite purr-suits.

Feeling mischievous? Bump pedestrians and they’ll drop what they’re holding. If it’s milk, lap it up!

Go for the goals

Though it’s fun to meander, the real joy is ticking off the game’s “Cat-chievements”. Splash paint on a fancy car. Swat a stray football into a net. Charm passersby to get some scritches. Or just collect adorable hats (including a snazzy one shaped like a watermelon).

Take in the sights

This town has lots of paw-some spots to check out, such as a convenience store with goods just begging to be batted off the shelves, or an arcade with a working claw machine. (Grab the plushies!) Walk along pipes, crawl through vents and hop between ledges to reach rooftop gardens with sweeping views of the metropolis.

Make new friends

The city is full of oddball critters who’ll offer hilarious banter and helpful items. A social-media-savvy beetle will give you his phone (great for snapping in-game photos) if you figure out how to get him a new one. And once you free a Japanese raccoon dog stuck in a pipe, he’ll build magic portals that zip you around town.

Know before you go

Collect Shinies for the Crow ASAP to get your first fish. When you eat it, you’ll get energy that lets you climb longer; try scaling the ivy on outdoor walls to reach otherwise-inaccessible spots.
