I think hellotalk is a good app, but apparently I can’t send photos to another person if I can it’ll take a long time to download! also, sometimes my hellotalk behaves weirdly, because it shows people who is only learning my native language, I want to talk to many people not only those because there aren’t many! :/Tällä kertaa muuten hyvä, mutta ehdottaa vaan aikuisia ihmisiä jotka ovat minua monta vuotta vanhempi. More Like a Dating App Than a Language Learning App

I joined this app to practice languages and connect with people for language exchange. Unfortunately, it feels much more like a dating app than a language learning platform.As soon as some users realize they’re talking to a woman, many of them start flirting, confessing their feelings, or asking for a relationship within the first few messages.What’s even more frustrating is that it doesn’t help even if I clearly state in my profile that I’m not looking for a relationship. I am married, but many users completely ignore that and continue sending romantic or inappropriate messages.Because of this, I don’t feel safe or comfortable using the app as a woman. Instead of focusing on language learning, I have to spend time blocking or ignoring people who don’t respect basic boundaries.I hope the developers take this issue seriously by improving moderation, giving users better tools to filter unwanted messages, and making the community feel safer for people who genuinely want to learn languages.

They’ve started using ads that play full volume with no respect to phone’s volume or silence settings. Are they trying to get people switch to competitors since this is a sure way to accomplish that.
