I love the languages! I am multi linguist and I dare to say I have never seen better app for improving the language skills and to start to study the new languages. I am very satisfied with the many world or European languages. English is perfect, German is great, Russian espectacular, Polish fabulous, Dutch unbelievable, Danish super (I admire the pronouncing). I admire the pronunciation especially in Irish, Norwegian (Bokmål), just I miss Nynorsk from the second kind of Norwegian and I miss especially Icelandic (which is similar) that the best would be in combination with English. The nice Irish is the only official Celtic language. The French, Italian, Romanian, Latin (in more voices), Portuguese and especially Spanish I find very great and well done. The unique Greek is also very good created. From Asian languages I like Japanese and I admire especially Chinese. I like the double combinations, E.G. Portuguese-French, Italian-French, French-Italian, Spanish-French, English-French, English-Chinese, Czech-English, English-Irish, German-Dutch, Spanish-Swedish, English-Finish, Spanish-Russian, Polish-English, Spanish-Portuguese, English-Romanian, English-Danish, English-Guaraní etc. The Guaraní si the only official Indigenous language. The most interesting and easy to study from the Finno-Ugrian languages I see the Finnish. I find here especially useful Irish and Portuguese because the pronouncement is quite difficult. This app is super fun, i love doing the courses. Sometimes i feel like duo wants me to learn words too fast, but when you dont have money for Super, you can just simply run out of hearts and gain them back by practicing. This is such a great idea and i love it!! Also, i have a little problem. 3 days ago i got '2 days of Super' from a chest i opened and yesterday it was supposed to end. I wasn't on wifi so i thought maybe i read it wrong and today was the end? I did a quick review which you can do on Super offline, and after the course it showed me that my day streak increased and i didn't open duo that day. Today i opened duo and it said that i used a freezer yesterday! I mean, i didn't loose my streak and it's just a few days, but imagine somebody with a streak over a year losing it because of this! You should notify us even if we are offline, or write it somewhere when you give us the Super in the start. Other than this, i don't see any problem, and i'm really happy with this app! 💗

Duolingo is the best app I’ve ever used for leaning languages. I taught me French and now I am progressing with German and other languages. As I am now using the app a lot I found some features that if they would be improved then they would make the learning experience even faster. As I use the app a lot now I found some thing really annoying. For example errors after missing a word in a sentence. After several hours of using the app I quite often commit this error because of lack of focus. This makes about 50% of all the mistakes I do. It would be super nice if the app would notify you that you missed a word in a sentence rather then prompt directly error. Same thing if I accidentally type the word in English instead of the language I am learning. I remember that in 2017 this feature was part of French course, but it is at least currently not part of the German course. One thing that also would be nice is if the hover feature over nouns could show their gender. And one last thing if we commit a spelling error of a word it would be nice if it would be followed by a spelling exercise for that word. If all there features were implemented I would leave 5 stars:)
