Alain Tural · Founder of Pixedi · United Kingdom
Alain Tural builds applied AI systems that have to hold up in production.
A UK-based technology founder, working across applied artificial intelligence, automation infrastructure, digital products and 3D product experiences. The work starts where AI leaves the prototype: systems that carry real customers, real deadlines and a cost attached to being wrong. Alongside that, he publishes the architecture decisions, the measurements and the failure cases from systems running in production.
The work
Building AI systems is easy. Making them accountable is harder.
A system reporting success does not mean the job was done. A publishing pipeline can report a month of content as delivered when nothing went live. A rendering process can exit cleanly without producing a usable file. An autonomous coding system can mark a task complete without creating the change it was asked for.
These are not unusual edge cases. They are production problems, and they appear the moment automation removes the person who would otherwise have noticed by accident.
The work is therefore the infrastructure around the model rather than the model itself: verification, observability, completion evidence, recovery. The objective is not maximum autonomy. It is output that can be trusted without being watched.
